Meet the team

A personal touch combined with professionalism and attention to detail. We know the blocks we manage are people's homes.

letters block management

Experienced, thorough and professional

Letters has wide experience of looking after the communal areas of blocks of flats and mixed use developments on behalf of freeholders, residents and occupiers.

We ensure all relevant fire, health and safety legislation is adhered to, and maintain the grounds and upkeep of all shared facilities. Our service is tailored to each client’s need, but examples include: general cleaning of communal areas; overseeing communal refuse; security; car parks and footpaths, and insurance.

We act on behalf of the freeholder or Residents’ Management Company to prepare annual budgets, collect service contributions and keep the book keeping and accounts up to date, in accordance with RICS rules and regulations.

Letters’ independence means it doesn’t follow a corporate path. The staff are very close and we all agree our clients are the main focus.

No two managed blocks are the same and Laura enjoys working to deliver a bespoke, first class service at a realistic price.

It’s satisfying when I’m able to liaise with owners and contractors to resolve any problems in a quick time-scale.

Mike Cole

Mike makes regular site visits to ensure the residential blocks we manage comply with safety regulations, are clean and in good repair. He is the team’s fire safety expert and works closely with our appointed Fire Risk Assessor. Mike also liaises with management committees and contractors to see that facilities are maintained to the highest standards, addressing specific concerns as well as coordinating routine maintenance and larger projects.

We give 110% to ensure owners don’t have to worry about the maintenance of anything outside their front door.

Property Finance Manager (Block Management)

Jeanie Gilroy

She’s the person who invoices owners for service charges and ensures contractors are paid for their work. Jeanie, who been with us since 2011, says the best part of her job is the people she works with.

We’re a small team who work together very efficiently: any issues that arise are dealt with straight away with clear communication.
